Two years ago I sent a short story out to several publications and it was eventually picked up by Bridge House Publishing last Summer and published in their xmas 2015 annual anthology. I've just received an email from an editor in the US keen to take the story! I've obviously had to send a polite reply explaining the piece's unavailability.
I know how manically busy editors get, but that's one hell of an inbox backlog.
